Chronicles of the Horunian War (series)
Chronicles of the Horunian War (ホルニス戦記) is a four-part series set in the same universe as that of Yume ni Aruku, but in the far future.
Synopsis
AD 23575, or 7238 AF in the Horunian calendar. For millennia the Horunians have been wandering the galaxy, trying to find a new world to settle after their original homeworld, Horunis was taken over by robots. It is not known how many groups of wanderers still exist, but it is clear that many have settled on the various inhabited planets of the galaxy, having long given up on searching for a single homeworld for all Horunians. Some other groups have instead decided to search for the legendary homeworld of humanity, the planet where humanity originated.
One group of wanderers has remained steadfast in their search for a new homeworld for the Horunians. However, their numbers have dwindled due to people leaving the group, as well as constant battles, leaving only one spaceship, the Ulysses. On board that ship is a young girl, a magical girl by the name of Natalie. One day, a mysterious voice inside her head called for her to go to the planet Faralla. Not knowing why this mysterious voice was calling Natalie to Faralla, the captain of the Ulysses ordered the ship to head to Faralla, and sent a team to scout out the planet and establish a new settlement, with Natalie accompanying the team. However, everyone except Natalie was killed in a monster attack, and Natalie herself was rescued by a man whose daughter had apparently been killed ten years before the present.
This was only the beginning for Natalie. Events on Faralla, as well as the role of the girl who had apparently been killed ten years ago in the ultimate destiny of the planet, will eventually result in Natalie realising that far more is at stake than the fate of one planet in the galaxy.
Entries
There will be four entries in this series, which will simply be numbered. Natalie, the protagonist of the entire series, is only the main character in the first and final entires; the other two entries have different main characters, and Natalie will only appear in a later chapter.
