Sakura is a character in Innocence Seekers: Akari of the Light. Like Mirai, she was born in Japan. Sakura is noted for her optimism (although she is not as optimistic as Akari or her friend Himawari) and for putting a lot of faith in others.

Some of Sakura’s friends include Himawari Higasa and Yuri Shirakawa. They are part of the Mimori Flower Club, along with Sumire. While Sakura and Himawari became friends when they first entered elementary school, they only befriended Yuri when they joined the club. Sakura, like many members of the Mimori Flower Club, is a magical girl, and like the other members who are magical girls, may be sent on assignments by the Zodiac Warriors, one of which led to her being thrown into the events of Innocence Seekers: Akari of the Light.

Sakura’s Inherent Ability is Blooming Garden, which grants her and her allies powerful regenerative abilities when activated. However, this ability drains Sakura’s mana and cannot be deactivated until either she runs out of mana or three minutes have passed. When this ability deactivates, it either causes her to leave Full Burst mode or (if she is not in Full Burst mode) knocks her out. In gameplay, this manifests as a special technique which, when used, creates a battlefield effect (lasting either 18 turns or when Sakura’s HP or MP reaches zero) which heals the entire party for 40% of their max HP every turn. This also causes Sakura’s MP to decrease by an additional five per turn. When the effect ends (for whatever reason) she leaves Full Burst mode if she is in Full Burst mode, or her HP is set to zero otherwise.

P.S. Happy birthday to Rie Kugimiya, who is now 37. Yesterday was also Saori Hayami’s birthday (she is now 25).
