Mizuki is a character in Innocence Seekers: Akari of the Light. Like Mirai, she was born in Japan. She is noted to be quite serious at times, but is otherwise friendly. She is known to get frustrated easily, which contributed to her rather fractured relationship with Mirai. Despite the fact that both Mirai and Michiru have somewhat similar personalities, Mizuki has a more amicable relationship with Michiru.

Not much is known about Mizuki’s family, other than the fact that her parents died during the events of Innocence Seekers: The Dark Angel Part 3. As of now, she (and her third cousin Wakaba) are staying at Fuyuka’s house. Before the events of Innocence Seekers: Akari of the Light, Sumire asked Mizuki to join the Mimori Flower Club, but she refused. She had met Michiru before (in Okinawa), but did not recognise her when they met again until Misato (who did remember Mizuki) mentioned her family’s trip to Okinawa.

Mizuki’s Inherent Ability is Destruction Wave, which, when activated, grants all of her physical attacks the ability to hit multiple foes in a single blow. This manifests as a spherical shockwave emanating from the point of impact, and can bypass any and all defences. The shockwave has a range of about 300 metres; however, it can only affect enemies which Mizuki has specifically designated within her mind as enemies (that is, it cannot affect enemies which she has not yet detected, and it will not affect allies). In gameplay, this manifests as a special status effect which allows Mizuki’s single-target physical attacks to deal damage at 50 per cent power to enemies which are not the target of the attack (in addition to dealing damage to the target at full power). In addition, the status effect allows her physical attacks to bypass barriers and shields (but not DEF or DEF buffs) and ensures that they will never miss. This status effect can be granted to herself at a cost of 20 MP, or 30 per cent, whichever is lower. The status effect itself lasts for six turns.

P.S. I haven’t actually put an article for Mizuki on the wiki, unlike for the other characters; I’ll do that soon.

P.P.S. I wish a happy birthday to Japanese voice actress Shiina Natsukawa, who is now 20 years old.
