In between working on Innocence Seekers: April Light, planning some of my other projects, and working on a new site for one of my interests, I’ve decided to post the bios for one of the characters of Innocence Seekers: April Light. This is a bio of Wakaba Harumi, one of Uzuki’s friends.
Wakaba Harumi (春海 若葉)

Wakaba is a character of Innocence Seekers: April Light and one of Uzuki’s friends. She is the second of three sisters. She was born and grew up in Japan. Wakaba is outgoing, and fairly sociable, but does have a serious side to her. It is noted that she often gets into fights with Benio over petty issues, something which annoys Aoi (and to a lesser extent, Uzuki) to no end. Wakaba, like Uzuki, adores her sisters.
While during her early childhood Wakaba lived with her parents, at around the events of Innocence Seekers: The Dark Angel Part 3, her parents moved to Fukuoka for reasons unknown, leaving Wakaba (and her older sister Aoba) under the care of Kaori. As such, she lives at Fuyuka’s house alongside her third cousin Mizuki (Aoba moved to Brisbane as part of a school exchange program during the events of Innocence Seekers: Mimori Flower Club).
Wakaba’s Inherent Ability is Infinity Arrow, which, when activated, grants all of her ranged attacks the ability to phase through any and all obstacles, whether they be physical objects, magical barriers and shields, anti-magic fields, or topological alterations of spacetime, all the while dealing damage to anything they pass through without losing destructive power (the only thing capable of stopping such an attack is a black hole). While this makes her attacks significantly weaker, this gives the immense advantage of having a single projectile capable of repeatedly damaging the target (millions of hits a second is not unheard of) and bypassing any and all defences. The main disadvantages are that it requires significant mana consumption to keep the ability active, and the mana requirements increase dramatically for each added projectile (to the point where it is impractical for Wakaba to control more than five or six projectiles while the ability is active, when without the ability she usually uses thousands).
